Job summary

Encepta is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Distribution to support a major joint-use infrastructure program in British Columbia. You will apply your strong electrical distribution and aerial distribution experience to help review engineering work and guide project outcomes.

The role offers hybrid work options with a team of professionals spanning electrical utility and telecommunications infrastructure, and opportunities to build expertise in joint-use pole infrastructure and pole pilot

Qualifications

• P.Eng. designation in good standing.
• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong experience in electrical distribution and aerial distribution systems.
• Practical knowledge of pole infrastructure.
• Ability to review and assess engineering work independently.
• Strong focus on quality and engineering judgement.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical distribution designs for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance on aerial distribution and pole infrastructure.
• Support joint-use infrastructure projects and pole replacement/relocation.
• Collaborate with internal teams across electrical and telecommunications.
• Contribute to large-scale BC pole infrastructure program.
