KGS Group is an employee-owned, multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm with projects across North America. We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Winnipeg-based Electrical Department, assisting with electrical design for a range of projects and coordinating with experienced engineers to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Registration as Engineer in Training with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and National Building Code is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design for projects in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Prepare construction drawings and specifications.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses.
• Witness inspections and support on-site activities.
• Collaborate with engineers, technologists and support staff.
