Job summary
Stantec is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our Buildings team in Canada. You will lead electrical design and project delivery for healthcare, institutional, commercial, aviation, municipal, and industrial facilities across Canada.
You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and support client relationships and business development. The role may be tailored to experience level and qualifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and eligibility for P.Eng in Canada.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical design for buildings and infrastructure.
- Healthcare, institutional, and large public-sector project experience is a strong asset.
- LEED, WELL AP, PMP or other certifications are valued assets.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design and documentation for building projects across Canada.
- Coordinate with architecture, MEP, ICT, and other disciplines throughout project delivery.
- Prepare studies, calculations, specs, and construction documents.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.
- Support client meetings, proposals, and business development.
- Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and changes; ensure QA/QC.
