Position: Electrical Designer

Location: Montreal Hybrid

Description

The Hardware Design department is responsible for providing hardware solutions for all company training devices. Our multidisciplinary team, trained and dedicated to its task, has extensive expertise in mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering.

Our main mission is to design, customize, and manage the development of cost-effective and innovative hardware solutions aligned with the company’s strategic plan and client requirements. We aim to deliver highly technological products and services within a digital ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Participate in electrical design within a team setting.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and requirements for internal and external customers.
• Coordinate design activities between engineering groups and manufacturing.
• Design cables, cable indices, and wiring diagrams.
• Develop technical solutions to meet project requirements.
• Support manufacturing processes.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (minimum 5 years of experience).
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering concepts.
• Proficiency with CAD systems, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Experience with PLM systems.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage priorities amidst complex and multiple deliveries.
• Bilingual in French and English is required.
