Job summary

MCW Group of Companies seeks an Electrical Designer for our Toronto office. The role supports project development from inception through construction, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule and budget. Open to candidates with 0–1 year of experience and a degree in Electrical Engineering.

The position emphasizes collaboration with Mechanical, Architectural, and Structural teams, with opportunities to grow professionally and engage with clients. Overtime may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of relevant engineering experience; new graduates encouraged.
• University degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Familiar with AutoCAD; aptitude for similar design programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of drawings and schematics.
• Coordinate with other consulting disciplines to ensure drawing integrity.
• Work with project team to ensure on-time project completion.
• Review architectural and structural drawings.
• Respond to technical inquiries from contractors.
• Provide technical and administrative support through all project phases.
