Job summary

Colonial Group in Saguenay, QC is seeking a qualified electrical engineer to supervise and coordinate building electrical projects across institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential sectors. You will analyze installations, develop solutions with engineers and technicians, and prepare pre-project studies.

• Analyze, design and adapt building-related installations.
• Develop new systems and improve existing ones.
• Draft pre-project studies and assess construction costs.
• Write specifications and technical reports.
• Provide technical support for design.
• Assist in site supervision.

Your main responsibilities

• Technical supervision, coordination, verification and design of various electrical systems projects
• Work closely with engineers and technicians to develop solutions tailored to client needs and carry out building electrical projects for various sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential)
• Survey existing installations
• Analyze, design and adapt building-related installations
• Develop new systems and improve existing ones
• Draft pre-project studies
• Assess the construction cost budget
• Write specifications and technical reports
• Technical support for design
• Provide assistance in regard to site supervision

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience
• Fluency in spoken and written French
• Versatility, autonomy, good communication skills
• Leadership and excellent customer service skills
