Job summary

Tigercat Industries is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead the afternoon shipping/receiving and assembly teams at the Paris, ON facility. You will oversee wire harness and electrical panel assembly, coach welders and assemblers, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time production.

The role requires hands-on electrical/electromechanical production experience and strong leadership to develop employees and meet production goals. Afternoon shift with a $3.00/hr premium.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience reading wiring diagrams and engineering drawings is essential.
• Strong understanding of electrical components and assembly processes.
• Capable of coaching, mentoring, and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of assemblers to achieve daily targets.
• Oversee wiring harnesses, electrical panels, and related systems per drawings.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for assembly issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.
• Monitor workflow and priorities to maximize efficiency and meet delivery commitments.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
• Maintain documentation, and support return-to-work and personnel processes.
• Maintain a strong floor presence and foster a positive, collaborative environment.
• Fill in hands-on when needed to meet production needs.
