Job summary

Savaria Corporation in Surrey, BC is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler - General to join our production team. You will assemble and test electrical components for our accessibility products, reporting to the Vertical Supervisor.

This on-site role emphasizes quality, safety, and teamwork as you help produce wheelchair lifts, stairlifts and related equipment. Prior electrical assembly experience is preferred; strong dexterity and the ability to follow blueprints are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical assembly preferred.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with electrical assembly tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components and systems according to specifications.
• Fasten parts using bolts, screws, rivets, or fasteners.
• Test and inspect assemblies for safety and performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical assemblies and address defects.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and document processes.
• Assist with developing new assembly techniques and process improvements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
