Job summary

SolutionAir Limited in Winnipeg is seeking an Electrical Assembler to build electrical components, panels and subassemblies from engineering drawings. You will perform wiring, testing and use precision tools to ensure accuracy, while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced production cell.

Ideal candidates read technical drawings, lift heavy items as needed, and contribute to team productivity. The role includes health benefits and opportunities for advancement in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and breakdowns.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and standing for long periods.
• Strong safety awareness and attendance record.
• Experience in electrical wiring is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components, panels, and subassemblies in accordance with engineering drawings and breakdowns.
• Perform electrical wiring and basic testing where required.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure product accuracy.
• Maintain quality standards and follow procedures outlined in the Manufacturing Guidelines.
• Work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow health and safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Contribute to team productivity by supporting other tasks within the cell as needed

The Successful Candidate’s Responsibilities Will Include

• Assemble electrical components, panels, and subassemblies in accordance with engineering drawings and breakdowns
• Perform electrical wiring and basic testing where required
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure product accuracy
• Maintain quality standards and follow procedures outlined in the Manufacturing Guidelines
• Work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Follow health and safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Contribute to team productivity by supporting other tasks within the cell as needed

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have

• Good attendance record, strong safety awareness, and a collaborative attitude are essential
• Physically fit and capable of performing heavy lifting as part of daily tasks
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and breakdowns
• Strong ability to work independently with attention to detail and deadlines
• Commitment to producing high-quality products
• Familiarity with products and processes within this production cell is an asset
• Skilled in the use of precision measurement instruments
• Background in electrical wiring is a strong asset
