Job summary

AAA Canada is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join our team in Mirabel. You will assemble and modify electrical systems, install harnesses, components, and sub-assemblies for aircraft interiors, and ensure conformity with blueprints and safety standards.

The role requires a DEP or DEC in avionics or cable and circuit assembly, at least 3 years of experience as an aircraft electrical assembler, excellent manual dexterity, concentration, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team on major

Qualifications

• DEP or DEC in avionics or cables assembly required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as aircraft electrical assembler or harness fitter.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and modification of electrical systems and their components.
• Installation and connection of electrical harnesses or other cables and terminations between main units.
• Installation of electrical or electronic components on shelves or peripherals.
• Assembly, adjustment, and installation of prefabricated parts to create aircraft interior elements according to requirements.
• Assembly, adjustments, and installation of sub-assemblies, coverings and padded parts as well as metal supports and hardware.
• Perform the installation of production electrical harnesses and/or avionics systems and ensure compliance.
• Perform wiring and cabling on panels.
• Several other functions that may vary according to experience and qualifications.

Desired profile

• DEP Cable and circuit assembly or DEC avionics technician
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an aircraft electrical assembler, or electrical harness fitter.
• Meticulousness and precision, good reflexes, ease of concentration and attention to detail (assembly or manufacturing of high-precision components);
• Ability to analyze to quickly find a defect or any other problem;
• Good manual skills and very good manual dexterity;
• Sense of responsibility (conformity of components and parts);
• Ease of working in a team (multidisciplinary team: mechanical assemblers, aircraft mechanics, other technicians, engineers, etc.);
• Adaptability to numerous technological changes
