Convergint in Calgary is seeking a 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice to read drawings and determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations. You will pull conduit, run wires, and install components under supervision, following safety procedures.

The role emphasizes hands‑on learning, alignment with Convergint values, and opportunities to grow technical skills in building automation and security solutions while serving customers in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of construction experience is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Install conduit inside designated partitions and pull wires to complete circuits.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Use measuring devices and testing equipment to ensure proper installations.
• Perform installations under supervision and follow health and safety policies.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical problems and assist with projects as needed.
• Assist with moving materials and setting up job sites.
