De Havilland Aircraft of Canada is excited to announce the addition of a group of highly experienced aerospace professionals to our organization! Mid Canada Mod Centre (MC2) and Avionics Design Services (ADS) joined De Havilland in October 2023, creating additional capacity and expanding our expertise in both avionics design services and upgrades as well as maintenance and modifications.
We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on professional for the position of Electrical and Avionics Engineer. The position is based in Mississauga, ON. The Electrical and Avionics Engineer will be responsible for designing and supporting engineering and design activities. This includes contributing to design and certification activities, generating ground and flight tests procedures, and providing on-site support during aircraft testing. Additionally, the role involves conducting electrical analyses, preparing technical reports, and generating test documentation.
As part of the engineering team, you may be designated as a project manager for specific initiatives, including maintaining effective communication with customers, addressing their needs while aligning with Company objectives. This position will report directly to the Director of Engineering and work closely with TCCA delegates, the design manager, and the planning and administrative departments.
