Job summary

Bluelime Technical Services is seeking an Intermediate Project Manager to support electric utility projects across Canada and the United States. The role covers planning, coordination, execution, and delivery within transmission, distribution, and substation sectors.

You will work closely with utility clients, engineering teams, contractors, field personnel, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient project delivery in accordance with requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires 7+ years of project management or coordination experience in electric utility, energy, infrastructure, engineering or construction sectors.
• Experience supporting transmission, distribution, substations, or electrical infrastructure is an asset.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (PM, Engineering, Construction Management, Business).

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate utility projects from planning through completion.
• Support planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, construction, procurement, field services, and other project teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reports.
• Monitor performance against scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to establish priorities and resolve issues.
• Review project documentation, contracts, drawings, specifications, and deliverables.
• Support procurement, contractor management, and supplier coordination.
• Track risks, issues, changes, and dependencies and develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor contractor and project performance and resolve deficiencies or delays.
• Coordinate field activities with construction and inspection teams.
• Support project closeout, lessons learned, and reporting.
• Ensure activities comply with utility standards, regulatory, health and safety and quality requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
