Job summary

Boart Longyear Ltd. is seeking an EHS&T Coordinator in Haileybury, ON. You will partner with field staff to achieve safe production and regulatory compliance across Canada. The role emphasizes training, audits, and continuous safety improvements.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in OHS and at least five years in drilling/mining safety, with COR/NCSO/CRSP or NEBOSH credentials considered an asset. Must be willing to travel across Canada and support a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• University degree with OHS or regulatory emphasis, or equivalent working experience.
• Minimum 5 years field-related experience in drilling services or mining industry.
• Certifications in EHST (NCSO/CRSP/NEBOSH) are a plus and COR audit training is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Be part of EHST professionals across Canada to ensure regulatory compliance and safety leadership.
• Coach and develop field employees through company programs.
• Own lagging and leading KPI programs, report progress to targets.
• Conduct workplace audits and rig inspections to ensure compliance.
• Investigate incidents and guide timely corrective actions.
