Job summary

Boart Longyear seeks an EHS&T Administrator to support health, safety and environmental programs in Western Canada. You will perform administrative tasks, coordinate training, and maintain records.

The role can be based near Saskatoon, SK or Haileybury, ON. This is a full-time, temporary contract with a salary of CAD 52,500–55,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Provide effective administrative support to the EHST team.
• Create and maintain digital employee records.
• Coordinate third-party training and reporting.
• Ensure staff training is current and records are maintained.
• Ability to work with sensitive information.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

We are looking to hire a EHS&T Administrator to support our operations in Western Canada. This role can be based out of our facility just a short drive north of Saskatoon, SK or in our Haileybury, ON facility

This is a full-time, temporary contract. Salary: $52,500-$55,000 per annum

Job Description

• Provide effective administrative assistance to the health and safety team, including correspondence, filing, incoming calls, purchasing, and scheduling


• Set new hires up with safety course system access (including in-house BITS program)


• Scan and file electronic documents


• Create and maintain consistent digital employee records


• Organize third party training and reporting


• Ensure staff training is current and records are maintained


• Research current legislative requirements to ensure compliance


• Assist EHST Team with expense reporting


• Support EHST employee with system-based access issues


• Assist with COR audits

Qualifications

• Strong skills in MS office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, communications, telephone, email, and IT applications.


• Ability to prioritize tasks, with strong attention to detail.


• Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.


• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with personnel in remote locations as well as vendors and other internal stakeholders.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.


• Ability to manage workload to meet hard deadlines with minimal supervision.


• Ability to work overtime and flexible schedule as needed.


• Fosters Teamwork.


• Experience with Site Docs and/or MITTI is considered an asset.


• Safety training is an asset (eg: HSA designation).
