LifeLabs LP in Burnaby is seeking an EHS Specialist to drive health and safety initiatives, collect and analyze H&S data, and report on performance metrics. You will lead injury claims processes, coordinate with third‑party clinicians, and develop standards for program improvements.

The role requires collaboration across levels, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity in safety programs.

Formación

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar EHS role.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in health and safety related discipline.
• Experience with WSIB, WSBC, and WSSK claims adjudicators.
• Experience in health and safety auditing.
• Experience with regulatory bodies at provincial and federal levels.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with risk assessments.
• Familiarity with ISO and other health and safety frameworks.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the workplace injury claims program with support from third party clinicians.
• Manage data collection and analysis for injury prevention.
• Oversee health and safety compliance programs and reporting.
• Provide HS expertise to stakeholders.
• Develop data collection tools and system requirements.
• Develop risk assessments for analyzers and lab equipment.
• Conduct risk assessments for new programs and workflows.
• Design and maintain dashboards showing HS impacts.
• Conduct audits and site inspections to evaluate compliance.
• Analyze operations and recommend improvements to reduce incident rates.
• Prepare technical correspondence and project proposals for senior staff.
• Manage consultants and vendors for HS programs.
