Job summary

Minerals Technologies Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager for its Brantford, Ontario operations.

The role focuses on promoting continuous improvement of the MTI EHS process, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading safety initiatives across sites as needed. The successful candidate will establish safety standards, manage environmental permits, and drive safety culture while collaborating with site leadership to improve performance and sustainability metrics.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with environmental regulations, standards, and implementation of environmental programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and implementation of programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience implementing a safety culture change is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work with regulatory agencies and implement EHS processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish safety standards for the Brantford plant in line with MTI/Ontario OSHA requirements.
• Ensure compliance with MOE, City of Brantford, and global environmental regulations.
• Lead short- and long-term plans to drive continuous improvement with actionable steps.
• Drive sustainability metrics at Brantford and Lethbridge plants.
• Lead Joint Health & Safety Committee activities and training.
• Oversee EHS training, inspections, audits, and regulatory permits.
