Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Canada and enrolled at a Canadian university for the internship duration.
• Fluent in French (oral and written) to communicate with site teams.
• Willing to work on site in the hiring province for the internship period.
• Currently pursuing studies in health and safety, HR, or industrial relations.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Strong synthesis, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS advisors, supervisors, and plant employees in daily activities.
• Perform preventive EHS inspections across departments.
• Assist in implementing activities from the annual EHS plan.
• Participate in incident investigations and documentation.
• Follow up on corrective actions and risk analyses at workstations.
• Provide advisory input on laws, policies, and procedures relating to EHS.
• Suggest changes to EHS policies, procedures and working methods.
• Identify risks in existing or new equipment/processes and propose mitigations.
