An established industry player is seeking a skilled Electrician to join their Facilities Management team. SHIFT: Monday - Friday 7:30AM -4:00PM
Primarily responsible for troubleshooting, installing, replacing, repairing, and upgrading various electrical systems, equipment and lighting fixtures.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
3+ years hands-on commercial, industrial, and residential electrical work experience under a license electrician. Experience with repairing common hand electrical tools, and stationary shop tools.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to troubleshoot variable frequency drives (VFD) drives and controls. Ability to troubleshoot controls and electrical systems with amp meters, voltmeters, tracers, and recording devices. Ability to read electrical schematics, electrical prints, wiring diagrams, and nameplates. Ability to work with AC and DC current up to 600volts. Ability to use ladders and scaffolding while performing job duties. Good communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to work nights and/or weekends.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $49.187. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
