Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure accurate transactions
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Reconcile and update accounts payable
• Perform reclassifications between prepaid expenses and regular expenses
• Reconcile various accounts and maintain sub-ledgers
• Assist in preparing financial statements such as balance sheets and income statements
• Review expenses, payroll records, and assist with audits
• Maintain accurate financial databases
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly financial reports
• Support month-end and year-end closings
• Contribute to accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or a CPA firm
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Fluent in French and English (verbal and written)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant accounting software
