Field Clinical Specialist Role

The Field Clinical Specialist develops clinical education materials related to clinical investigations and provides expertise and insights throughout the device's lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Certify centers, physicians, and staff, including EW personnel, according to EW SOPs.
  2. Engage with KOLs and proctors.
  3. Educate on device handling, implantation, troubleshooting, and related procedures.
  4. Develop and improve training curricula and materials based on clinical trial experience and guidelines.
  5. Conduct training sessions and provide follow-up support to ensure ongoing education and technical support.
  6. Collaborate with Sales to implement growth strategies within targeted accounts.
  7. Upsell in strategic accounts alongside Business Managers.
  8. Validate software and hardware updates in the field.
  9. Acquire comprehensive knowledge of products, physiology, and market applications.
  10. Review support activities, market changes, and competitive activity regularly.
  11. Perform other incidental duties as required.
Education and Experience :
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Training experience in a clinical or technical environment is preferred.
Additional Skills :
  • Proficiency in MS Office and general office equipment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Moderate knowledge of cardiovascular science, anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
  • Understanding of medical device regulations, accountability, and adverse event reporting.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Attention to detail and professionalism at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork and relationship-building skills.
  • Adherence to company rules and safety protocols.
