This role is based in our Abbotsford office; remote candidates are not considered at this time.

Responsibilities and Duties

As the Human Resources Admin, you thrive on variety and enjoy supporting a diverse office environment. You love to-do lists and value autonomy in creating a welcoming workspace.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting recruitment: developing job postings, screening, testing, and pre-interviewing candidates.
  • Providing HR administrative support: onboarding, departures, and recruitment processes.
  • Managing HRIS software to ensure data accuracy.
  • Overseeing daily office functions: supplies, kitchen, organization, and presentation.
  • Organizing and enforcing office procedures.
  • Greeting guests enthusiastically and ensuring their comfort.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Preferred: 2 years in a similar role.
  • Typing speed of 75 wpm or faster (test here).
  • Experience with O365, G Suite / Google Workspace.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • Fast, accurate data entry skills.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and active listening.
  • Open to feedback, eager to learn and improve.
  • Comfortable with new technology.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
