Territory Manager - Watertown NY CMH2_170901

The Territory Manager will be responsible for account-based selling to healthcare providers (HCPs) who prescribe and influence treatment for the disease states represented in the Lilly portfolio. This includes various HCP specialties and hospital accounts. The role involves building credibility as an expert and resource supporting all medicines and appropriate brand patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Ownership

Promote the full portfolio of priority products across multiple HCP specialties.

  • Understand the marketplace within the territory; tailor strategies to grow business outcomes.
  • Navigate the healthcare environment and payer landscape to impact key stakeholders and build trusted partnerships.
  • Utilize business insight tools, data, and analytics to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Implement new technologies, including AI tools and analytical capabilities, to enhance customer interactions.
  • Identify and advocate for opportunities to improve the customer experience.
  • Model a growth mindset to foster positive experiences.

Use Lilly’s selling, competency, and account management models to improve performance.

  • Demonstrate agility in understanding disease states, marketplace, and product labels.
  • Engage in patient-centered dialogues to promote the portfolio.
  • Execution / Results

Promote across the portfolio and HCP specialties, ensuring consistent regional practices.

  • Achieve sales and execution metrics while adhering to policies.
  • Manage customer relationships for product promotion and market access.
  • Own results and performance across all accounts.
  • Build relationships with internal and external partners to foster trust and collaboration.

Basic Qualifications

  • Professional certification or license as required by state.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Business ownership, selling, and customer experience skills.
  • Account-based selling experience.
  • Strong learning agility, self-motivation, team focus, and emotional intelligence.
  • Bilingual abilities aligned with territory needs.
  • Residence within 30 miles of the territory boundary.

Compensation for this role ranges from $63,000 to $138,600, depending on experience, education, and location. Eligible employees may also participate in bonuses and comprehensive benefits, including 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, and well-being programs. Lilly reserves the right to modify these programs at its discretion.
