A leading company seeks a Sr. AI Architect to design and develop scalable AI solutions aligned with business strategies. The role involves advising clients, leveraging a global network, and utilizing advanced AI methodologies. Ideal candidates will have a master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field and extensive experience in AI and management consulting.
The Sr. AI Architect is responsible for designing and developing scalable AI solutions aligned with business strategies and benefits. They serve as an AI technical advisor and SME to help clients scale their AI programs. The AI Architect must understand how various business processes, operating systems, and application architectures work together to design solutions that meet environmental requirements. They take ownership of technology aspects of AI across the Microsoft ecosystem.
The AI Architect will adhere to Avanade’s AI methodologies and industry best practices, recommending appropriate technology solutions, delivering architectural and technical designs, and preparing client proposals. Success in this role requires leveraging our global network (across Accenture, Microsoft, & Partners), sharing ideas, knowledge, and resources openly. The candidate should be proficient in creating AI solutions that provide comprehensive insights and support successful business outcomes.
You are an organized problem-solver with business acumen, capable of translating business needs into solutions. You will guide and support your team, whether locally or globally, to provide successful GenAI solutions that address client challenges. Experience in Management Consulting & SI is strongly preferred. Knowledge of AI algorithms, hardware accelerators, frameworks like TensorFlow, CUDA, ONNX, Caffe, and Azure Data and AI services is essential. An engineering background in programming, software development, or app development is advantageous.
Responsibilities include data profiling, cataloging, mapping, designing data flows, and solving business problems using Azure Data and Analytics services, data pipelines, and system integration. Skills in .NET, Python, LLM architecture, Time-Series Analytics, real-time data streaming, data science, machine learning principles, DevOps, MLOps, SDLC, and Agile are required.
The ideal candidate likely holds a master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, or machine learning, with around five to seven years of relevant experience. Certification as a MSFT Data Science Associate and a broad skill set covering management consulting, software architecture, infrastructure, and AI use cases across industries is expected. Strong communication, coding ability, hands-on approach, big-picture thinking, and willingness to travel are also important.
Compensation varies based on location, role, skills, and experience, with a starting range of CAD 134,000 to CAD 187,000 in Ontario.
