Job description

The AI Architect will adhere to Avanade's AI methodologies and industry best practices, responsible for recommending suitable technology solutions, delivering architectural and technical solution designs, and preparing client proposals. Success in this role requires leveraging our global network (across Accenture, Microsoft, & Partners), fostering collaboration, and sharing ideas, knowledge, and resources openly. The candidate should be proficient in creating AI solutions that provide comprehensive insights and support successful business outcomes.

Skills and experiences

Seeking an organized problem-solver with business acumen, capable of translating needs into solutions. Responsibilities include guiding teams globally to deliver accessible GenAI solutions, with a preference for Management Consulting & SI experience. Essential skills include AI (algorithms, hardware accelerators), Machine Learning (TensorFlow, CUDA, etc.), Computer Vision, Azure Data and AI services, data engineering (programming in .NET, Python), and expertise in LLM, time-series, and real-time analytics. Familiarity with data science principles, DevOps, MLOps, SDLC, and Agile is also required.

About you

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field or equivalent experience. Likely a MSFT Certified Data Science Associate with 5-7 years in a similar role.
• Versatile skillset covering management consulting, software architecture, and infrastructure.
• Ability to discuss AI use cases across various industries confidently.
• Strong communication, customer-facing skills, and hands-on coding ability.
• Strategic thinker capable of breaking down complex architectures.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Compensation ranges from CAD 134,000 to CAD 187,000, depending on various factors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Facilitating meetings and pre-sales presentations.
• Collaborating with AI, IoT, and Automation teams to define AI & IoT value propositions and scope.
• Analyzing processes, identifying AI opportunities, and recommending approaches.
• Estimating, designing, and delivering AI solutions.
• Building AI assets, enabling stakeholders, and delivering high-quality solutions.
• Serving as AI SME, Solution, or Technical Architect during delivery.
• Providing best practices, quality assurance, and strategic advice to project teams.
