The Outside Sales Representative maintains strong customer relationships with existing clients while developing new potential by offering professional, effective, and efficient solutions. The incumbent promotes and sells existing and new products to meet branch sales objectives and achieve sales results.

What you will do:
  • Communicate with existing customers to secure ongoing sales and maintain strong relationships.
  • Optimize the existing customer base by promoting and selling current and new products and services.
  • Offer professional, effective, and efficient solutions to customer inquiries.
  • Provide quotations, technical support, literature, and other materials for customers.
  • Develop new customer potential by examining market opportunities and customer needs, tailoring products and services, and selling solutions.
  • Provide direction, training, coaching, and leadership to branch employees.
  • Communicate customer concerns regarding inventory and delivery to maintain loyalty and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Participate in setting branch sales objectives and be accountable for achieving sales targets (revenue, gross margin, accounts, and quotas).
  • Advise branches on pricing to ensure competitiveness and margin expectations while maintaining flexibility for large volume or new accounts.
  • Proactively communicate with branch management on customer relationships to meet expectations and address issues promptly.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on new products, services, and market trends.
  • Participate in trade shows, training, and product meetings as appropriate.
What you will bring:
  • Five to seven years of experience in a similar role, preferably within wholesale distribution.
  • Knowledge of HVAC industry products is required.
  • Proven sales and cold-calling experience, ideally within the industry.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within time constraints.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage territory and accounts efficiently.
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Highly organized with good prioritization and multi-tasking skills.

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000, plus additional compensation and commissions.

Each resume submitted is reviewed individually and retained for 24 months for potential future opportunities matching your skills and qualifications.
