The Senior Database Administrator will be a creative, analytical, and innovative individual passionate about database administration and solutions.
This role involves collaboration with system administrators, developers, database administrators, quality analysts, solution architects, business analysts, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality data products that meet organizational needs.
The candidate should have a solid understanding of database administration, design, and management, capable of performing quality control, transforming data via ETL processes, configuring cloud and on-prem environments, architecting data lakes, and working with team members to ensure high-quality outputs.
Responsibilities include maintaining existing data products, building out a data lake within Azure, and migrating data to the cloud. Familiarity with Azure database development and mentoring others in migration, pipeline development, testing, and source control within Azure is essential.
You will lead teams to identify, categorize, prioritize, and analyze data to plan cloud migration and develop architecture artifacts.
