Position Summary
Bulletproof is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Administrator to join our Corporate Services team. This role will serve as the primary technical liaison to our managed service provider (MSP) and managed security service provider (MSSP), and will collaborate with the MSP/MSSP to perform hands on duties within our technical environment as needed. The Senior IT Administrator will lead internal technology projects and act as an internal auditor to ensure compliance with various licensing standards and certification requirements such as SOC2.
Responsibilities
- Technical Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between our company and our MSP/MSSP. Ensure effective communication and collaboration to address technical issues, implement solutions, and optimize service delivery.
- IT Infrastructure Oversight & Execution: Oversee and participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT assets and infrastructure.
- Internal Audits: Conduct regular audits of our corporate Microsoft licensing and Azure consumption along with internal audits to ensure compliance with certification standards such as SOC2. Develop and maintain internal audit plans, perform risk assessments, and document findings.
- Compliance Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of compliance programs. Ensure that all IT processes and systems adhere to relevant regulatory and certification requirements.
- Vendor Due Diligence: Collaborate with vendor management, delivery teams and external software vendors/service providers to ensure the deployment of high-quality, secure IT services and solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including IT, security, and operations, to ensure alignment with security objectives and technical requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance service delivery.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical documentation, internal audit and compliance reports. When required, present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Training and Awareness: As needed, develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on security and IT best practices. Promote a culture of secure IT and continuous improvement within the organization.
Required Education/Skills/Credentials/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Hands on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure & Azure AD services, Intune & Defender for Endpoint.
- Knowledge of network security principles and practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Experience with DNS and SSL certificate management.
- Have (or be willing to acquire) relevant technical, security or compliance certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, Server+, Linux+, Security+, MS-500, AZ-500, NSE are a plus.
- Experience with managed service providers and IT service management.
- Experience in IT compliance, auditing, and technical liaison roles.
- In-depth knowledge of SOC2 and other relevant certification standards.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with various teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement improvements.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups or activities making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in technical configurations & reports, audits and compliance documentation.
- Ability to manage their own time, priorities and resources to get the work completed.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships and successfully work toward a common goal with others.
- Ability to lead initiatives, manage projects, and influence others to achieve compliance and technical objectives.
