Job Description

The Physical Security Specialists will report to the Team Leader, Personnel Security and will be responsible for the following tasks which may include, but not be limited to :

• Conducting personnel security screening and security clearance activities;
• Creating and providing ID card and access control services;
• Security file management (both hard and electronic copy);
• Providing security administrative support;
• Monitoring, assessing, prioritizing, triaging and assigning Security tickets in a ticket management software;
• Participation in weekly Security Operations team meetings;
• Participation in other assigned security-related projects and tasks not specified above.

Job Requirements : Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience assisting a senior resource conducting tasks and activities related to Physical Security.
• Experience conducting at least two out of six of the following tasks :
• Assisting with the conduct of threat and risk assessments and researching or drafting recommendations related to physical security;
• Participating in the development of physical security risk management strategies;
• Contributing to the conduct of maturity analysis of physical security controls;
• Supporting role in the Planning and Conducting administrative investigations into the suspected theft or loss of corporate assets; and
• Researching, developing and / or updating Policy Instruments or other supporting documentation related to Physical Security.

Additional Information

The Junior Physical Security Specialists will be required to work according to the clients Hybrid Workplace Model, and some work will need to be performed onsite (in person) at the clients offices on a regular basis.
