Summary:

Our team is growing! We are looking to add a Senior Buyer to our purchasing team. The Senior Buyer will handle procurement and fulfillment for product lines and installation projects, establishing clear communication with suppliers and ensuring timely fulfillment of Purchase Orders (POs) aligned with customer requirements and deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000
• 401(k) with 6% company match, no vesting period

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, engineering, or manufacturing
• Experience with SAP
• Experience with fabricator/machine prints, weldments, and custom machine designs

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to read manufacturing drawings (blueprints)
• Convert requisitions to POs, update promise dates, manage schedule changes within ERP
• Achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
• Own fulfillment KPIs: on-time PO placement, delivery, accuracy, invoice resolution
• Partner with quality and negotiate vendor recovery for delivery and quality issues
• Hold regular reviews with suppliers to ensure performance and best pricing
• Coordinate with engineering on design changes
• Develop understanding of supplier processes, materials, and pricing
• Establish strategic relationships with suppliers
