This role will manage a territory in and around Barrie, ON.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on facility HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems and equipment.
• Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems, some electrical and plumbing systems, building interior / exterior, and related grounds in assigned buildings.
• Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions affecting client occupancy and operations.
• Respond promptly to emergencies.
• Prepare and submit reports on conditions found and recommend actions.
• Familiarize yourself with equipment and methods for HVAC, Electrical, Building Automation, fire / life safety systems, and other building equipment.
• Maintain a strong customer satisfaction mindset, fostering an excellent customer experience.
• Follow health and safety procedures, maintaining safe work areas and reporting hazards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Support after-hours building activities as needed.
• Attend training sessions to support your role.
• Perform other operational tasks typical of a Mobile HVAC Technician.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

• High School diploma or GED from a certified institution.
• HVAC Certificate of Qualification; 313A license or provincial equivalent; Interprovincial / Red Seal Certification is an asset.
• Gasfitter I or II certification or provincial equivalent.
• Canadian ODP Certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least ten (10) years of technical experience in building engineering, HVAC, plumbing, electrical repair, and system design.
• Security clearance as required.
• Tools provided for your work.
• Willingness to support after-hours work and overtime.
