Job description

We are seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to become a part of our team! This is a full-time, on-site role at our Toronto location. As an Interior Designer, you will participate in the design development process, prepare and present proposals, produce detailed drawings, select furnishings and materials, and liaise with clients and consultants.

Responsibilities :

1. Collaborate with the team during all project phases, including Concept Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation, and Construction Administration.
2. Attend project meetings, document discussions and decisions, and support project clarity and progress.
3. Assist in organizing and facilitating project meetings with the Senior Designer and management team.
4. Source and coordinate samples from vendors to enrich the project's material palette.
5. Coordinate with external project consultants such as lighting designers, engineers, signage experts, and kitchen consultants.
6. Synchronize multiple projects and interior design drawings, ensuring cohesive design intent.
7. Create and submit documentation and submittals to streamline approval processes.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Interior Design.
3. Strong concept development and visualization skills.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
5. Knowledge of building codes and standards.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills.
8. Experience in luxury hospitality is a MUST.
