Intermediate Interior Designer - Workplace

Location: Toronto, ON

Position: Interior Design – Interior Designer / Full Time / Hybrid

We are currently seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our Toronto studio. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a passion for innovation, and enjoy working collaboratively. Please note: Ability to obtain Security Clearance may be required.

How you'll make a difference :

• Develop design solutions in collaboration with the interior design, architecture, and engineering teams for integrated projects.
• Communicate and coordinate design requirements through all project phases, from programming and conceptual design to technical drawings and detailing.
• Select and specify furniture, finishes, equipment, and accessories; prepare FF+E documents.
• Contribute to and prepare presentations, render conceptual ideas, and produce 2D and 3D design drawings.
• Manage client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination.
• Assist with project budgeting and scheduling.
• Prepare project documents, minutes, schedules, and specifications.
• Apply building codes and construction regulations.
• Participate in on-site visits, field reviews, and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
• Review site deficiencies and oversee installation inspections.

Who you are :

• 4+ years of experience in Interior Design consulting with strong design process knowledge and creativity.
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field (NCIDQ certification is a plus).
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Photoshop, and InDesign; experience with SketchUp and Rhino is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, accountable, and motivated.
• Experience in client engagement from programming through construction.
• Experience with conceptual and workplace projects, especially tech office design, is preferred.
• Passionate about translating concepts into experiential and functional designs.
• Desire to grow professionally and personally.
