Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or three year college diploma in applicable field (e.g., Child & Youth Worker, ECE, Behavior Technician, Educational Assistant).
• RECE registration in good standing; related credentials may be asset.
• Bachelor degrees in relevant fields recognized; additional licenses optional.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teacher and LRT to implement individual education plans.
• Support instruction for individuals and small groups in academic/integrated classes.
• Monitor and support students with exceptional needs, including safety and well-being.
• Maintain confidential records and communicate progress to staff and families as directed.
• Assist with behavior management and therapeutic programs as identified by staff.
