The role involves care for medically fragile students, including mobility and daily living tasks. The EA III must hold a certificate or diploma from an EA or Early Childhood Assistant program or equivalent

Qualifications

• Must possess a certificate or diploma from either an EA or Early Childhood Assistant Program or equivalent related training and experience.
• Experience supporting students with diverse needs is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Support instructional, behavioural, and social development of students.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement daily living programs and behavior plans.
• Provide care to medically fragile and high-needs students when required.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, feeding, toileting and personal hygiene as needed.
• Operate and assist with specialized equipment where required.
