Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Educational Assistant Diploma with CPR/First Aid preferred
• some experience working with children in an organized setting preferred
• preference will be given to those with NVCI training
• experience working with students who exhibit challenging behaviors is an asset
• ability and willingness to perform required physical tasks, as well as assist with personal care

• Support the teacher with planning, instruction, supervision and evaluation as directed
• Assist students with activities and personal care as needed
• Support students who exhibit challenging behaviors and adapt to individual needs
