Chinook School Division is seeking an Educational Assistant for Maple Creek Composite School (CUPE). This permanent part-time position (0.917 FTE, 5.5 hours/day) supports students in educational programs and collaborates with staff.

The ideal candidate has Educational Assistant certification or relevant experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a flexible, team-oriented approach. Candidates must be able to work with diverse learners and contribute to an inclusive school culture.

Qualifications

• Educational Assistant certification or relevant experience.
• Ability to work with students one-on-one and in classroom settings.
• Experience or ability to work with young children.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a student’s educational program.

• May involve some lifts and transfers.
• Other duties as assigned.
