Chinook School Division #211 is seeking an Educational Assistant for a permanent part-time role (0.917 FTE, 5.5 hours per day) at Maple Creek Composite School. The position supports diverse learners and emphasizes inclusion, teamwork, and flexible approaches to student needs.

Qualifications

• Educational Assistant certification or relevant experience.
• Ability to work with students in one-on-one and classroom settings.
• Experience or ability to work with young children.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment.
• A positive and flexible attitude to change.
• Interview will be required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with a student's educational program.
• Work as a team member in a fast-paced student-centered environment.
• Meet health and hygiene needs of children as required.

• Work with the team on development and implementation of an Individual Improvement Plan.
• May involve some lifts and transfers.
• Other duties as assigned.
