Qualifications

• Graduation from a post-secondary business program.
• 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience with at least 5 years in supervision.
• Knowledge and experience with ERP financial systems, data analysis and reporting tools.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across levels.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to Financial Services, Purchasing, and other Finance functions.
• Collaborates with Finance leadership on budget, payroll, capital accounting and reporting.
• Assists in preparation of the district's annual budget and financial reports.
• Ensures effective internal controls and compliance with policy and standards.
• Oversees internal and external audit functions and public sector accounting standards.
