Job summary

Oxford Learning Burlington South is seeking a dynamic Education Coordinator to support students, families, and staff in delivering Oxford Learning programs. This in-person role involves coordinating schedules, assessments, learning programs, and liaising with schools and community partners to foster a positive, high-energy learning environment.

Job Type: Full-time (32-36 hours per week). Salary: $22 - $25 CAD per hour. Evenings and weekends required. Applicants must reside in the Burlington area.

Qualifications

• Minimum College or University degree (Credits in Social Sciences, Languages, Math and Business preferred)
• Strong secondary school mathematics skills are an asset
• Additional language(s) spoken is an asset
• Experience in an educational environment with medium to large student bodies
• Experience with billing cycles is an asset
• Strong phone skills and customer service experience (sales experience preferred)

Responsibilities

• Inform inquiring parents about Oxford Learning programs
• Organize schedules for students, staff, and teachers
• Set up and administer assessments
• Establish and oversee student learning programs
• Liaise with schools, sports teams, and local businesses
• Maintain contact with parents and discuss progress
• Ensure Oxford Learning philosophy is maintained in the centre
• Create a fun and energetic learning environment daily
• Coach other teaching staff in the Oxford Learning approach
