Education Consultant – ALDI Initiative – 100%
Applications are invited for this special full time project, starting on October 1, 2026 and ending on June 30, 2027 with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will work within the Center of Excellence Inclusive School Network (ISN) and will be under the supervision of the Director of Complementary Services of Riverside School Board. The mandate is provincial in scope, carried out under an agreement with the MEQ and as part of a project approved by the Association of Directors General of English School Boards of Quebec.
The Education Consultant operates within the context of the ALDI (Advancing Learning in Differentiation and Inclusion) Initiative, which aims to build the capacity of school resource teams and foster the development of effective inclusive classroom practices across the nine English school boards in Québec and the Centre de services scolaire du Littoral.
In alignment with this mandate, the Inclusive School Network (ISN) Center of Excellence supports system-wide coherence, professional collaboration, and the advancement of inclusive practices across the English education network.
Through this role, the incumbent contributes to developing a strong knowledge base and expertise in differentiation and inclusion for resource teachers and school-based resource teams. This is achieved through sustainable, high-impact professional learning and network-wide collaboration.
The position also plays a key role in facilitating collaboration and coherence among school boards, supporting a shared vision of inclusive education and strengthening the capacity of resource teams to meet diverse student needs across Québec.
The Education Consultant role includes providing advice, coordination, and support to educational institutions and services in the implementation, development, and evaluation of inclusive practices, instructional approaches, and support structures. The consultant will also contribute to the mandate and activities of the ISN Center of Excellence.
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate specialty, notably in Education.
In accordance with the Professionals’ Agreement: ($56,670 to $105,432) (35-hour week), according to qualifications and experience.
