Job summary

Sunshine Coast School District is seeking Education Assistant 2s to collaborate with a team of educators and positively impact students both individually and in groups.

Successful candidates will have a Grade 12 education and an Education Assistant certificate or diploma (or coursework toward it), plus CPI training, First Aid, and ABA/ASD training. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and union representation.

Job description

EDUCATION ASSISTANTON-CALL

Education Assistants 2 work in collaboration with a team of educators to positively impact and guide students, both on an individual and group basis. Successful candidates will have a Grade 12 education, an Education Assistant certificate or diploma (or significant coursework toward the certificate), and experience working with school-aged children. Other qualifications include CPI training, valid First Aid certification and additional training in Applied Behavioural Analysis and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder. The starting wage is $33.88 per hour.
