Job summary

Regent Christian Online Academy is seeking a part-time Education Assistant to support students both in-home and in-class in Surrey. The role involves implementing pre-planned lessons, assisting with life skills activities, and collaborating with therapists and teachers to support individual education plans.

You will work onsite at SURREY locations (Friday in-class and flexible in-home hours) with a Christian school community emphasizing faith-based education and inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs.
• Ability to collaborate with therapists, teachers and families.
• Capacity to implement individualized plans with fidelity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in-home with pre-planned lessons and life skills activities.
• Support in-class learning and small-group instruction.
• Contribute to IEP goals with observations and data.
• Prepare materials and adapt activities for identified needs.
