You will train staff, prepare statements and reports, and provide financial advice to leadership. The position is permanent full-time with a salary range of CAD 100,000 to CAD 125,000 per year, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required for this role.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is expected.
• Familiarity with tax planning and financial reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up and administer accounting systems
• Train staff
• Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control
• Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies
• Prepare reports and audit findings
• Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement and estate planning
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
• Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure
• Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
• Analyze financial documents and reports
• Examine accounting records
• Provide financial, business and tax advice

Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)
