Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Sales Development Rep-2 for our Edmonton office. The role is 100% on-site, Monday–Friday, with a base salary of $60K plus a $15K geographic allowance, weekly commissions, and performance bonuses.

Eligible for monthly car and cell phone allowance upon promotion to Account Manager. You will join a team focused on building targeted customer lists, conducting outreach, and collaborating with delivery and operations to identify IT talent needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma with 3 years of professional experience or 4 years of professional experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of Sales Experience or degree in Sales or sales internship experience or active collegiate sales club membership.
• Strong desire for a career in B2B Sales; excellent written and oral communication; sense of urgency; strong presentation skills; professionalism and character.
• Ability to overcome obstacles and collaborate with others to accomplish goals; strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Execute initial steps in the sales process after hands-on training.
• Research and build call sheets of targeted customers using LinkedIn and other resources.
• Document and track leads from Recruiter Lead Program; build customer profiles and talk tracks.
• Perform outreach and document weekly activity; use Inward Lens to identify lost customers and generate new meetings.
• Advance to Account Manager; develop relationships, grow sales, and present proposals.
