Job summary

Texcan seeks a Construction Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a major facility project in Edmonton. You will coordinate contractors, consultants, and vendors to meet milestones within budget and ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout the lifecycle.

One-year contract role with on-site leadership, stakeholder updates, and close collaboration with internal teams to align facility requirements with business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in construction management or related field.
• Experience leading large-scale construction projects.
• Knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.
• PM certifications are a plus (PMP or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of a major facility construction project in Edmonton.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and vendors to meet milestones within budget.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, scope, risks, and progress through construction lifecycle.
• Facilitate site meetings, reviews, and stakeholder updates.
• Manage contracts, change orders, permits, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards are met.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions; oversee inspections and commissioning.
• Support equipment installation, startup, and handover to operations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet facility needs.
