Marketing Specialist, Practice Marketing

As a member of our in-house marketing team, the Practice Marketing Specialist supports various areas of the business with a focus on local practice marketing. This role will drive marketing planning and implementation initiatives, focused on growth, for a number of rehabilitation brands and clinics across Lifemark’s network. The ideal candidate excels at devising marketing activities, executing across a variety of online and offline channels. You will work collaboratively with members of the marketing and operations teams while building and managing relationships with regional and local teams. Working alongside internal stakeholders, you will act as a partner, helping to utilize marketing to drive and support local business growth for their practice(s) and brand.

The successful candidate is a skilled marketer, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is highly organized and capable of meeting deadlines. You should have strong customer service skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and experience in creating copy and collaborating with graphic designers to produce effective materials for various channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed growth marketing strategies for specific practice brands, outlining objectives, key deliverables, target audiences, and timelines to drive brand growth and patient engagement.
  • Lead the creation and execution of marketing materials, including campaign plans, print collateral, email campaigns, Google Business Profile updates, social media content, and website enhancements, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Manage content calendars and social media channels for assigned brands, including content planning, collaboration with subject matter experts, scheduling, and engaging with the online community by monitoring and responding to comments and inquiries.
  • Serve as the primary contact between specific brands and the marketing team, maintaining regular communication and fostering strong stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Support clinics with inquiries and go-to-market launches for new services and programs to increase visibility and patient acquisition.
  • Ensure all marketing and communication materials adhere to brand standards, conducting quality checks before release.
  • Participate in rebranding efforts, including developing communication strategies, updating digital assets, reviewing signage, and planning pre- and post-rebrand marketing activities to promote refreshed clinics and ensure a unified brand presence.
  • Utilize tools like Google Analytics to track marketing performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve channel effectiveness and conversion rates.
  • Assist the marketing team in achieving annual objectives, launching new programs, and implementing channel enhancements to contribute to overall success.
  • Leverage patient insights, analytics, and marketing research to identify growth opportunities.

Key Qualities & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role; experience in an in-house marketing team is an asset.
  • Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent organization, project management, and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of email creation and database management principles.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics is considered an asset.
  • Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Self-starter with solutions-oriented attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Experience working with graphic designers and understanding of creative / content development processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Zendesk or similar marketing and design workflow software.
