About This Role

The Manager, Brand, Content & Creative Services will lead a team responsible for developing and implementing brand, content, Public Relations and media strategies to elevate CAE’s brand identity and market presence. This role drives the overall brand, creative, content, media and Public Relations strategy across all marketing channels (tradeshows & events, print and digital advertising, digital marketing channels including content for website, marketing campaigns, social media etc) and is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of marketing plans established by the Marketing Strategists for each business unit.

Responsibilities

Public Relations, Media and Content Management

  • Build relationships with trade media and manage all associated Public Relations activities. Oversee writing and approvals of press releases, speeches, podcasts and interview content. Organize press events, media campaigns, interviews and actively engage with and manage trade media relations;
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including written, visual, and multimedia materials. This also includes graphics, content and messaging for Tradeshows and Events as well as advertising messaging and content.
  • Ensure consistency and coherence in brand messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Strategists to understand the strategic priorities of each business unit and translate them into creative deliverables respecting timeline and budget.

Brand, Creative and Content production

  • Manage the production of marketing collateral, including graphics/imagery/messaging for brochures, presentations, videos, and digital content.
  • Create and implement strategies to position the CAE brand effectively in the market and differentiate it from competitors.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels and materials
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of creative services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of branding and content initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in branding, content creation, and creative services.

People Management

  • Lead and manage a team of brand, creative, media, content and public relations professionals.
  • Develop and execute brand, creative, media, content and Public Relations strategies that will help positively position CAE in trade media and align with the overall marketing plan and business unit objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative, creative and innovative team environment, encouraging professional growth and development and proposing actionable plans to improve ways of working.
  • Train team to ensure excellence in processes, tools, and tactics.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Coach and manage performance of team members focusing on results and engagement
  • Identify talent pipeline and plan succession.
  • Build relationships with all stakeholders.

Budget Management

  • Ensure marketing budgetary responsibility for overall Brand, Creative, Content, Media and Public Relations budget
  • Develop media plans and negotiate contracts with media, content, copywriting agencies
  • Actively plan and monitor forecasted spend to budget by quarter

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field
  • 10+ years' experience in branding and content creation, Media and Public Relations management preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience with creative production, brand, communication, Public Relations and media management strategies.Solid experience in managing a team, prioritizing their deliverables and ensuring their engagement
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent copywriting, media management, Public Relations, creative and brand management profile
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and experience in media, writing press releases, Public Relations management
  • Proficiency in creative software and tools, content management systems, and project management platforms.
  • Creative thinking and ability to act fast and decisively
  • Strong project management abilities, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of the aerospace industry and its market dynamics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
