The Jardins Champfleury private seniors' residence, located in Limoilou, is seeking a nursing assistant to contribute to the well-being of our residents. Benefits include free parking, no mandatory overtime, and a great care team :)

Position Description:

Schedule: To be discussed based on the candidate's availability (full/part-time, day, evening, or night)

Role and General Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to standards and legislation in accordance with private seniors' home certification and the code of ethics.
2. Create and maintain meticulous notes in the residents' dossier according to the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ).
3. Ensure good communication and medical follow-ups with relevant parties.
4. Collaborate with team members to carry out health and hygienic care, respecting residents' dignity and integrity.
5. Provide a range of nursing care and treatments to maintain and restore residents' health and prevent illness.
6. Respond to emergency situations promptly.
7. Report any noticeable changes in residents' mental or physical health to the on-call nurse during interactions.

Experience and Qualifications:

1. Degree in nursing (DEC) or a professional studies diploma (DEP) in healthcare assistance or nursing.
2. 0 to 2 years of experience preferred.
3. Up-to-date CPR/AED certification.
4. Member of OIIAQ.
5. Proficiency with computer tools.
