Job description

The Jardins Champfleury private seniors' residence, located in Limoilou, is seeking a nursing assistant to contribute to the well-being of our wonderful residents. We offer free parking, no mandatory overtime, and a great care team :)

Position Description:

Schedule: to be discussed based on the candidate's availability (full/part-time, day, evening, or night)

Role and General Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to standards and legislation in accordance with private seniors' home certification and the code of ethics.
2. Create and maintain meticulous notes in the residents' Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ).
3. Ensure good communication and medical follow-ups with the involved parties.
4. In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity.
5. Provide a range of nursing care and treatments to maintain and restore residents' health and help prevent illness.
6. Respond to all emergency situations.
7. Report any noticeable changes in a resident's mental or physical health to the on-call nurse during interactions.

Experience and Qualifications:

1. Degree in nursing (DEC) or a professional studies diploma (DEP) in healthcare assistance or nursing.
2. A minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience.
3. Up-to-date CPR / AED training certificates.
4. Member of OIIAQ.
5. Ease in using computer tools.
